Cash and non-cash payments in "Rīgas satiksme" parking meters to be temporarily suspended
"Rīgas satiksme" informs that due to the introduction of the euro cash and non-cash payments in parking meters located at municipal pay parking lots operated by "Rīgas satiksme" will be gradually suspended on December 27-30. Meanwhile, SMS payments will be accepted as usually, without breaks.
It is scheduled that the function of non-cash and cash payments in parking meters will be gradually restored as of January 1, 2014, and, starting from this date, only euros will be accepted in parking meters.
"Rīgas satiksme" operates 4796 municipal pay parking-lots, where 99 parking meters for non-cash payments and 133 parking meters for cash are installed.
